How to practice uttara vasti



Uttara vasti is the practice of cleansing and revitalizing the uterus to get a woman's monthly cycle back in harmony with the rhythms of nature.







Things You'll Need:





Red rose petals




Red raspberry leaves




Water




Sesame or coconut oil




Hot water bottle with tubing and nozzle




Bathtub

Boil 2 cups of water in a double boiler. Add 1 tablespoon of dried red rose petals and one tablespoon of dried raspberry leaves. Simmer for 5 minutes, remove from the heat and let steep for 15 minutes.

Give yourself an oil massage with sesame or coconut oil before administering the douche. Fill the enema bag with the lukewarm solution, attach the nozzle to the bag and close the shut-off clip.

Lie down in the tub with the legs apart and the knees bent. Relax and insert the nozzle in the vaginal passage. squeeze the buttocks firmly together and lift the hips slightly off the ground.

When the bag is empty, relax the hips, remove the nozzle from the vagina and allow the solution to flow out.
